How can I submit my film to Short Film Center?
Participants have the option to enter their films via online submission website
www. reelport.org or send a DVD or VHS (PAL format) with the entry form duly signed, along with a DD of Rs. 1000/- favouring Entertainment Society of Goa, payable at Panjim to the Short Film Center address:
Short Film Center, Maquinez Palace, D.B. Marg, Campal

Registration fee: Rs 1000 for Indians.
USD 30 for non Indians.

Golden Lamp tree Award Trophy and a cash prizes of Rs 5 lacs,
Silver Lamp tree Award Trophy and a cash prize of Rs 3 lacs,
Third Prize wit a cash award of Rs 2 lacs

What kind of films can I send to Short Film Center?
The films of any genre can be submitted for the International Competition but for the Environmental section films related to Environment will only be selected.
What are the criteria to submit my film?
• All films completed after January 1, 2008.
• Any genre of film (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental) for International competition.
For the Environmental section, film related/ concerned to Environmental issues only.
• Films of 30 minutes or less are eligible.
What is the Entertainment Society of Goa?
The Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) an Govt of Goa funded society, organizes the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF INDIA in Goa every year in partnership with the Directorate of Film Festivals, Government of India. This year 40th edition of the festival gets underway on 23rd November 2009.

Screening of your film throughout the duration of Short Film Center in a loop on three specially designed screens; One free private screening of the film at the Maquinez theatre Viewing Room in any 12/15 or 18 seater facility (with prior booking) on first come first served basis. Publication of your film's information card in the (paper and Internet) Short Film Center catalogue with an English language synopsis, producer's and sales agent's contact details, and an indication of its visibility at the Short Film Center screening facility; Option of online extension at the Market allowing it to be viewed by attending users of the video library via a secure server on

• Free access to Short Film Center Lounge.
• Free tea coffee servings in the Short Film Center Lounge.

How can I reach the venue?
Goa is well connected by air from all major cities of India. Similarly there is an excellent train linkage and regular bus services from Mumbai, Bangalore.
Once you reach Goa you have to come to the Capital of Goa i.e. Panaji.
Do I get free travel and stay for Short Film Center?
• Only Director/Producer/Cast whose films have been selected will be invited to participate at the Short Film Center from
November 24th to December 2nd 2009.
• Hotel accommodation will be provided only to either the Producer or the Director of a single selected entry.
• Budget accommodation will be available with ESG on first come first served basis.
