1. Entry requirements
Deadline : October 1, 2009.
Fee : Rs 1000 for Indians.
USD 30 for non Indians.


2. Maximum Running Time: 30 minutes.

3. Short Film Center screening format: DVD upload on Short Film Center server.

4. Registration
Online Submission at www.reelport.com and www.withoutabox.com or ship us the DVD with the form. Similarly all films entered at Short Film Center will be automatically registered at the Short Film Market.

5. Registration deadline and reception of Short Film Center Market copies
The Short Film Center registration will only be valid upon reception of the Short Film Center Market copy and the signed and printed Short Film Center registration form on October 1, 2009 at the latest.
Shipping is payable by participants. Packages must reach us cleared of any customs tax or they will not be accepted.

6. Return of Short Film Center copies
Market copies will be kept in the resource centre/ archive for films run by ESG.

7. Archiving
The Entertainment Society of Goa has been conducting a mission of preservation of the short film heritage. To this effect, all DVD's submitted to the Festival are kept and may be transferred to digital or any other format for improved storage purposes and used for non commercial, nonprofit, for film festivals or archival storage.

8. Non-specified cases and disputes
The ESG/Short Film Center committee or its representative will settle all non-specified cases within the terms of the present regulations. Short Film Center registration implies acceptance without reservation of all the terms outlined in the present regulations. In case of litigation, only the courts of the city of Panaji shall be competent and have jurisdiction.

Facilities provided by Short Film Center

1. Personalized pages on video terminal

10 Video terminals will be set up at the Short Film Center which will be linked to a server and all the films submitted for Short Film Center will be available on each terminal.

Each video terminal will have one screen, Two chairs and Two headsets.

Every Short Film Center delegate will obtain a password to view all the films available at the video library the video terminal.

Filmmaker who would like to promote his film to a prospective buyer can do so by logging in into the Video terminal.

2. Exhibition Hall

Festival organizers, Buyers, Funding agencies, Film makers, mentors, TV networks etc. keenly share 1,000 sqft of exhibition space where they promote their business, present their catalogue, form working relationships whilst preparing new projects.

3. What are the advantages of having a booth in the Market?

Booths of 4 sqm and more are available to participants. Various equipment is also on offer (see order form).

Having a booth ensures your being seen throughout the week at the Market.

You will be first to receive information on the attending professionals, especially buyers.

A secretarial service is in charge of dealing with your business appointments during the Market.

You are granted two accreditations free of charge.

You have free access to a multimedia room equipped with Internet, fax and Xerox.

You can organize happy hours at your stand from 5:00 pm onwards (provided that you first check the dedicated schedule).

4. Market Screenings

Outstanding exposure for short film collections. You can show your latest productions or purchases (film and video).

Two Theatres are available on hire for market screenings.

Maquinez 2 (80 seats) @ Rs 5,000 per half hour.

Market screenings are mentioned in all the Festival's programming schedules and are each presented on a double page in the Market catalogue. You will be given the list of the attending buyers in order to be able to get back in touch with them and to confirm meeting arrangements.

5. Professional meetings

Funding, technologic advancements, experience and skills are developed during round tables, discussions or workshops.

Networking with Festival organizers, Buyers, Funding agencies, Film makers, Mentors, TV networks etc.
