Synopsis: Bureaucracy Sonata is a satire on the inner workings of the government during a period of political crisis. The film is set in and based on true stories from the emergency era (1975-77) in India, often described as the time interval which split Mrs. Indira Gandhi's political career into two halves, pre & post. It closely explores the life of a jailer in the face of a calamity.
